Claire Irene “Clairene” (Noll) Falk, 75 of Nortonville, KS died Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her home unexpectedly.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, Jan. 11th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Nortonville. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Nortonville. A parish rosary will be held at 6:30 pm on Thursday, Jan. 10th, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Church followed by visitation with family until 8:30 pm. Friends may call at the O’Trimble Chapel after 9:00 am until 4:30 pm on Thursday. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Joseph Church, St. Joseph Cemetery, Unbound, or Food for the Poor, Inc. and may be sent in care of the O’Trimble funeral home. Clairene was born on January 24, 1943 in rural Nortonville, KS the daughter of Leonard J. and Viola L. (Weishaar) Noll. Clairene attended St. Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from Nortonville Rural High School. She worked in the “Café” since she was 13 years old, and then at her mother’s Café from 1958 until 1976. She also worked 5years for the Northeast Kansas Telephone Company and 12 ½ years as a dental receptionist and dental assistant. Clairene was married to Kenneth Charles Falk on May 7, 1966 at St. Joseph’s Church, Nortonville. He preceded her in death on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2014. She was a member of the St. Joseph’s Church, the Altar Society and served as Sacristan of the church for many years. Clairene enjoyed quilting, gardening, raising flowers, and volunteering. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She also was a sponsor of 22 children through UNBOUND serving children in other parts of the world, assisted with funding for clean water, animals, and housing through Food For The Poor and made 45,000 rosaries for the missions.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Irene Falk, Topeka, KS, two sons Kenneth Cary (Danielle) Falk, Camas, WA, and Aaron Christopher (Amanda) Falk, Lenexa, KS, five grandchildren; Erika (Ben) Grimm, Tyler Ruthem, Shauna Counts, Caiden and Sierra Falk, two brothers, James (Rita) Noll, Nortonville, KS and Jack (Joyce) Noll, Effingham, KS, a sister, Mary Katherine Henry, Nortonville, KS, and several nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband Kenneth, a niece, Emily Henry, and a nephew, Wayne Henry preceded her in death.
