The Vickster

I couldn't decide on one memory, there's just too many! Vicky's house was one of the best places to be at growing up. It was always fun. I remember if we did get bored, we'd always ask Vicky to take us riding around. Vicky was cool like that and we were too young to drive. The Highlander days we called it. Didn't matter if we were going the scenic country route, just random routes, or sometimes we got to take a ride through the strip. Those were the best times. Music, the wind, and us girls and the "Vickster". I always remember Vicky smiling, and making sure I was okay and comfortable. She was the sweetest. My most recent and last memory with Vicky, she met my son. It had been a few years since we got to see each other and catch up. It felt like not a single day had passed since I last saw her. She was beautiful and sweet, and instantly reached for my son to hold him. I'm forever grateful and thankful for that day, and all of my days with her. And I hope to be the "Vickster" to my son's friends someday. Rest in peace Vicky <3
