Callie Sue Ferris-Negonsott, 52, of Horton, KS died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019.
Memorial services will be 6:30 pm on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2019 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Watkins officiating, with visitation to follow until 8:30 pm. The body has been cremated. Memorial contributions are suggested to help with final expenses and may be sent in care of the funeral home. Callie Sue Ferris was born on July 18, 1967 in Little Rock, Arkansas the daughter of Bill and Diana (Bittick) Ferris. She attended schools at Mid-Way, Denton KS and had worked in various jobs. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. She attended the New Life Assembly of God Church, Atchison and enjoyed shopping, and especially her dog Toby and her grandchildren.
She was married to Anthony M. Negonsott on May 22, 2017 at the Kickapoo Tribal Court, Horton, KS. He survives of Atchison KS. Additional survivors include a son Joshua Erpelding and his fiancé Becka Shanks, Atchison, a daughter Kayla (Jason) Bare, Horton, KS, her parents Bill and Diana Ferris, Purcell, KS, three step children: Seamus Negonsott and his fiancé Samantha Hayes, Leavenworth, KS, Melinda Negonsott and Matthew Negonsott, Troy KS, two brothers Terry (Ronda) Ferris, Hiawatha, KS, and Adam (Tena) Ferris, Troy, KS, a sister, Leann (Richard) Bailes, Leavenworth, KS, and eight grandchildren, Brothers-n-law, Shane Negonsott, Mayetta, KS, Jeff Negonsott, Horton, KS, Mike Shopleese, Horton, KS and John Negonsott, Atchison, KS, sister-n-laws, Violet (Tommy) Reese, Rushville, MO, Delores Gormley, Atchison, KS, Rebekah (Robbie) Fowles, Farley MO, and Jennifer (Mike) Collins, Effingham, KS. She was preceded in death by one infant brother, Timothy Ferris and a sister n law, Laura Pahmahmre.
